Tomato kofta by Bhargavi Aitha

Ingredients:

tomatos:-4 medium sized
onions:-1 medium sized( cut into small pieces)
turmeric:-1 tea spoon
dhaniya powder:-1 tea spoon
garam masala powder:-1 tea spoon
red chilli powder:2 tea spoons(depending on taste)
curry leaves:-4to 5(optional)
coriander leaves for garnishing.
for koftha balls( arround 20 ballas of little <>
onion: 1/2 medium sized
fresh coconut powder:3 table spoons
green chilli:-6 small
ginger garlic paste :-1 tea spoon(optional)
salt to taste.
besan flour as required
oil for deep frying.

Procedure:

For koftha balls:

First we have to make koftha balls.
for that we need to grind all the above ingredients except besan flour to a fine paste.
Transfer the ground paste into a bowl and add besan flour. add salt if necessary.
The consistancy of the paste should be like normal onion bajji and deep fry.
For this curry 10 to 15 balls is enough( depends on individual taste).
For curry:

Take a bowl, put 3 table spoons of oil and add chopped onions and curry leaves.
Saute the onions till it become transulesent on low flame but dont burn.
Then add tomatos saute them till they are cooked(soft) and oil seperates.
Then add ginger&garlic paste,turmeric,dhaniya powder,garam masala powder,salt,red chilli powder and cook it for 5 min.
Then add those koftha balls and cook it for more 2 min then garnish it with coriander leaves.
Thats it our tasty tomato koftha curry is ready. it tastes gud with rice and chapathis.

Note: For best Results, Do it on low flame.
